The SHONA® cultivar is a new early fruiting raspberry from the Bio tree cultivar list. SHONA® is highly productive variety. It forms excellent fruits that are large, oval with deep red color and typical sweet raspberry taste and nice aroma.
It requires full sunshine, not abundant irrigation and fertilization. The canes formed during the summer season are long and require a supporting structure. Key characteristic of SHONA® is early fruiting season. The fruits ripen for a long time – from late May to mid-July.
